West Papua Action: Lombok Treaty Guerrilla Screening Canberra
The Lombok treaty (2006) has led to the Australian government remaining silent on the issue of West Papua. But as Australians we do have a choice: to remain quiet or to speak out about the human rights violations committed against the West Papuan people.
Will you join us and raise your voice for a safe and free West Papua?
Thursday September 10th 5:30pm we will gather at the entrance to the DFAT building. We will invite staff and security guards to join us to view the 2 minute film about the Lombok Treaty and hopefully a talk from a guest speaker.
We'll live stream to facebook on the Make West Papua Safe facebook page and our remote crew will spread the message online.
Indonesian 'sovereignty' depends on militarism and #WarCrimes. Rip up the Lombok Treaty! #WestPapuanLivesMatter.
We'll have placards and banners for you to hold.
Be Covid-safe, bring your mask and keep 1.5m apart.
Numbers are limited please RSVP here
